The cottage was in a very good location and was comfy for just the 2 of us. The cottage had plenty of hand sanitisation. We enjoyed some lovely walks due to post lockdown some places where closed and we had to book the only pub open if we wanted to eat out at night. The only thing that let things down for us was the garden area it is more like a baRead moreck yard and on a shared walk wsy with the other 2 cottages so we did not feel private so did not sit outside. The cottage was right in the heart of Clare, and although small was nice and cosy, with a comfy bed, and just about everyone we needed as a base for exploring the area. We enjoyed the selection of DVDs and being able to get Radio 3 on the TV. We didn't use the log burner as the radiators kept us snug enough.

The location is quite good if you like to be near pubs, takeaway and restaurants and for walking, bike riding it is excellent. Generally a good village location and with easy access to other parts of Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.

Ideal location for an atmospheric break. Nice oldworldly character, but with all modcoms. Really great location in a small town with all amenities (except a bakery :) ). Good bed, large shower, all the kitchenware you need. Enigmatic window system, but the one in the smaller bedroom was easier to handle so that helped.
