Semi-detached holiday cottage nestled in a quiet courtyard setting, boasting lovely views of the sea from the private balcony. A perfect retreat to Cornwall for families and couples alike.

You will be perfectly placed, just a few miles from picturesque Tamar Lakes and a short drive to the Atlantic Highway, via this the whole of the spectacular North Coast, famed for its beautiful scenery, can be explored. Beach lovers will be spoilt for choice with Bude offering a choice of sandy beaches alongside a variety of amenities, Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay are all just a few miles away. There is an array of picturesque fishing villages and coves waiting to be explored and these include Port Isaac, Rock, Boscastle and Padstow, a popular foodie destination. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Hartland Quay, Bodmin Moor, mythical Tintagel with the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and The Eden Project.

Step inside this delightful property and due to the unique reverse-level layout ascend the stairs onto the first floor where you will discover the beautifully light yet cosy lounge. This characterful room boasts comfortable sofas arranged around a TV/DVD and also views over the countryside to the sea beyond, and from here a set of French doors lead to a delightful balcony providing an opportunity to enjoy the views in the open air. Completing the offering on this floor is the first of the pretty bedrooms, a beautifully styled double room with a sloping ceiling and pretty wooden panelling behind the bed. Head back down the stairs and onto the ground floor where the lovely light dining area is located, which provides the perfect venue for a relaxed breakfast before heading out for the day. Alongside this you will discover the compact yet perfectly appointed kitchen which offer a great range of appliances including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and also a fridge/freezer. The second bedroom, a pretty twin bedroom and also a bathroom with a shower over bath and WC are the final rooms inside the property.

Located directly outside and leading directly from the dining area is a lovely elevated patio area which overlooks the quiet courtyard and is presented with an array of planted pots, and garden furniture. There is also a useful shared utility room on site and this features a washing machine and tumble dryer. Ample private off-road parking is also provided.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Had a fantastic holiday at the Granary, we were made to feel welcome and provided with great suggestions for days out and eateries. The cottage is in a great location to explore much of Cornwall and Devon. It is deceptively big with great facilities including new bathroom and kitchen. It is also very dog friendly which was great for our doggo who dRead moreidnt want to leave! Thanks for such a lovely time we will be sure to come back and visit again soon. Hide

We had a lovely stay in the cottage despite the weather being quite rough. The place had recently been refurbished with a new bath and kitchen and was well equipped with everything you need if you want to stay in. The lounge upstairs was cosy and warm and offers idyllic views across fields towards the sea. Due to the weather we didn't walk the dog Read moreacross the fields much which we were offered or down to the village which is about 20 min away. The location is perfect for daytrips in all direction. Hide
