This spacious, yet full of character property is the ideal home away from home, perfect for a family holiday or for friends taking a break together.

Perfectly located for touring Cornwall, this detached, cosy cottage is tucked away just off the road in the heart of Par, a village with two pubs, shops and a year-round dog-friendly beach which is only a short walk from the property. If you'd rather leave your car at home while you explore the area, the mainline railway station is also just a short walk away or there are also good bus links to all main attractions. Nearby, the magnificent Eden Project is definitely one to add to the activity list with its fascinating giant tropical and Mediterranean biospheres. To experience the unspoilt charm of Cornwall, pull on your walking boots and enjoy the many idyllic picnic spots found in its wild and wonderful coastline, or its beautiful, tranquil countryside.

Enter this delightful property into the hallway which leads through to the lounge - this is the perfect spot to cosy up and watch a film on the TV/DVD and keep warm with the electric fire. The kitchen area is well-equipped with everything you'll need to make the meals you do at home and includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Once the meal is prepared, head through to the dining room which can cater for six people. On this floor you will also find a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Once the day is done, climb the stairs to the first floor, where you will find four bedrooms -  two double bedrooms over looking the garden, a twin bedroom and a nursery with a cot and changing area. There is also a snug area on the landing, perfect for teenagers  as it comes complete with TV, DVD and Playstation.

Outside there is a large enclosed garden which is ideal for children and dogs to play and run around in, as well as a paved sitting area where you can enjoy a family BBQ or a glass of something special once the kids have gone to bed. Private parking available for up to three cars. Outdoor table and chairs are available in the outhouse .

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Quirky property in good location with all facilities but would benefit from upstairs loo. Enclosed lawn good for children & dog. Extra care needed driving off parking area onto busy narrow road.

the cottage contained everything needed for a relaxing stay from kitchen ware to books and dvds. It is in a great location with some gorgeous areas for walking. The garden was great, Brandy our dog loved it. we enjoyed breakfast sat outside in the sunshine most mornings. Thanks for a lovely stay.

the cottage is well presented.clean throughout and all the amenities you need for a lovely family/doggy holiday.centrally located in par just a 20 min. walk to the beach which our dog adored.close to fowey (10 mins. ) and mevagissey ( 25 mins. )this property is ideal for a dog friendly as well as a family holiday ( lovely big front garden )
