This little granary dates back to the 16th century, with traditional features together with the contemporary amenities and beautiful countryside views, with plenty to see and do nearby.

This quirky and unique property for two is ideally located in the county of Wiltshire and provides an excellent base to explore the abundance of activities and attractions on offer. Location wise you’re spoilt for choice as you can explore Bath, Shaftesbury, Salisbury,  Bristol and all the surrounding counties, you will need to return to fit it all in. Located just off the A36 there are easily accessible day trips just around the corner like Stonehenge, Longleat House, Longleat Safari and Avebury to mention a few. If all this sounds too exhausting, a day relaxing at the property in the beautiful garden will leave you relaxed and refreshed.

Stepping through the front door and into this beautiful studio style property you will be greeted with high oak beams, adding to the character of this outstanding property. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has ample space for two and beautiful views across the fields. The lounge area has two huge sofas, a hide away pull-out double bed and a TV with Sky HS movies and sports package. Behind the lounge area is the kitchen/diner which is well-equipped to prepare meals with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, with a lovely dining table to dine in. A washing machine and dishwasher are located in the external laundry room. Off the kitchen is a shower room with shower and WC. Sneaked away in the corner of the lounge is a ladder style staircase leading to the first-floor mezzanine level, king-size bedroom -  a snug and romantic area looking down onto the rest of the property.

If the inside wasn’t quirky enough, the outside compliments it very well, with a private courtyard, a stunning water feature and plenty of space to dine alfresco, with the option to use the charcoal BBQ. The courtyard is the perfect spot to relax, reflect on the day and admire the beautiful little granary. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days, the good weather allowing us the opportunity to relax in the glorious walled garden. Idyllic! Excellent kitchen with very generous welcome basket. Two things that one needs to be aware of, the 'ladder staircase' up to the mezzanine bedroom, which we, two nearly 70 year olds, coped with and the background hum of traffiRead morec noise. The converted barn is a fantastic base for a Holiday in Wiltshire. Its beautiful with its oak beams, has a very spacious And comfortable lounge area. Bedroom is in the hay loft, which is quaint and quirky. King sized bed very comfortable. Walled garden is a joy to see and be in. I would recommend this for anyone looking to visit the area. You need Read moreto be aware hay loft is accessed via a steep step ladder, so if you struggle with stairs, you can use the drop down bed in lounge. Hide

Lovely cottage and in a good location for drives to different pubs or restaurants. Some lovely walks nearby and a lovely garden to relax in without being disturbed.

Good space for two. Plenty of cutlery, crockery etc plus a dishwasher! Thanks to the owners also for providing so many basics such as tea bags, filter coffee, oil & vinegar ... really helpful and great to see. Excellent property with a lovely welcome pack on arrival, clean and modern facilities. On the negative side you have to take your life in your hands walking on a busy road to reach the village and to top it off the pub is now closed until further notice!

An exceptionally clean, well equipped studio. Lovely, private courtyard to sit in , weather permitting! Proximity to both the A36 and the A303 meant there was traffic noise, though this did mean there were good communication links to Bath, Warminster, Salisbury etc.
