A lovely week in a peaceful rural location. Benefits included a cream tea on arrival, lots of DVDs and books, nice chairs for sunbathing, and a great shower. Disadvantages included beds that were too soft for us, flimsy curtains that let too much light in (for lie-ins), and the location itself. We are keen explorers, but 5 miles to Wadebridge took Read more15 minutes on tiny roads - anywhere we went, including for a decent meal, was a 30-minute trip. We would stay closer to the coast next time. Hide

Excellent property ideally located for access to both the North and South coasts of Cornwall. It is a good size and has all the amenities you would require, the local pub, the Lanivet Inn is only 5 mins away in the car or a half hour walk, the food there is excellent. Also there is Lantic Bay which I believe is the most scenic beach in Cornwall. Hide

The cottage is set in a quiet corner of Cornwall. It is a long, but pleasant walk to the nearest pub and restaurant. The local roads are narrow, so never be in a hurry to get anywhere. However, if you want peace and tranquility the cottage more than compensates. If relaxing is what you seek then this is the idea holiday cottage.

I would love to say this property was terrible so no one else booked it and meant we could book it whenever we wanted but I just can't. The property was extremely well presented and the owners could not have been more lovely. If you want a fuss free quality holiday I would book this cottage.
