There is a ferry service to Fowey which runs every 15 minutes giving access to further shops, restaurants and pubs. There is only one road giving access to Polruan which ends by the quay close to the tidal beach. It is ideally situated for visiting attractions such as, The Eden Project or Ferryside where Daphne Du Maurier wrote her first novel. There is also easy access to the South West Coast Path.

On the ground floor of the property you will find the open-plan lounge/diner with feature multi-fuel stove, providing extra warmth in the winter months. Curl up on the comfy sofa in front of the TV/DVD and watch your favourite programme or film, snuggled up in front of the multi-fuel stove. In the dining area the table comfortably seats four people enabling the planning of your day over your morning coffee. Moving on up to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms, one double and one small double. The bathroom is also found on this floor and has a bath with a shower over the bath and WC.

A charming cottage in a beautiful location, which was perfect for 2 people and a dog. Not sure the cottage would have enough living space for anymore people to relax comfortably! Based at the top of the steep hill, you should be aware that the local pubs and shops are situated at the foot, therefore a good walk required to get home!

This is our 7th visit to the Old Dairy, we discovered it in 2009 and fell in love with it and keep coming back. It has everything in it that you might need for a comfortable stay. We love the furnishings as they are very "cottagey" and in keeping with the property. There is a nice little garden and patio area for eating outside (weather permitting).Read more being dog friendly, for us its ideal. We had a very pleasant stay at the old dairy. The cottage is situated in a picturesque fishing village on a steep hill so bare this in mind. Nice places to visit within a fairly short driving distance.

Lovely cottage , small & cosy with very comfortable beds . Not enough comfy seating in the living room , could easily fit another sofa in . Very compact kitchen but had everything we needed & a lovely enclosed back garden for the dog .
