A peaceful converted barn within the beautiful Exmoor National Park and just a few miles from the coast.

Approached over a small bridge, this property lies in a peaceful village north of Dunster. It’s surrounded by breath-taking scenery and wildlife, making it a haven for keen walkers. The beaches at Dunster, Blue Anchor Bay and Minehead are within a few miles of the cottage, with Minehead also offering a wide choice of shops as well as Butlin’s at Somerset World. Lace up your walking boots and make the hour journey to the medieval town of Dunster (or it’s a 10 minute drive) and see the National Trust Dunster Castle. Other attractions nearby include the Valley of the Rocks and the West Somerset Steam Railway, while Lynton and Lynmouth with its water-powered cliff railway are also within easy reach.

With exposed bricks and a grand woodburner, the lounge area is the perfect place to unwind and soak up the country atmosphere. Perhaps curl up on the sofa with the latest best-seller, or switch on the TV or watch a DVD. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped for you to cook up a storm should you decide on a night in, with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, as well as a dishwasher and washer/dryer and TV. Also on the ground floor is a WC. Heading upstairs you’ll find the property’s two bedrooms - one king-size with TV and one twin - as well as a bathroom with a roll-top bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside is an enclosed garden, with gated shared access across the rear path. Take a seat on the garden furniture and take in the view, or perhaps dine alfresco - there’s even a BBQ for you to enjoy. The property has roadside parking.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Brilliant location in heart of village with pub and shop. It would have been helpful to have slightly clearer information telling you that the garden is across the other side of a shared access alleyway so you cannot just let your dog out to roam the garden without watching. But this is a very minor niggle.

A comfortable cozy cottage, ideally located for exploring the north coast of Somerset & Devon. Plenty of places to visit nearby including Dunster with its castle and medieval village & West Somerset Railway.

Very rustic cottage, comfortable and felt very homely.Beautiful garden and dog friendly. Owner very friendly and even left a bottle of wine and flowers for us so lovely thought. Area is stunning lots of good walks and beautiful villages. Local pub (2 doors away) a must.

Comfy well-equipped cottage and garden in great location for visiting Exmoor and nearby Devon. Useful local shop/post office and lovely friendly local pub (good food) very close.
