Lovingly converted barn provides a relaxing getaway where no attention to detail has been forgotten. A perfect location for those wanting to experience the countryside at its finest, yet with lots to discover on the doorstep.

Situated in the hamlet of Knapp just outside the highly popular village of North Curry, which has a shop/post office, coffee shop and a pub. There are miles of walks to be enjoyed directly from the property which meander through a rural landscape teeming with wildlife. Local wildlife safaris can be arranged prior to your stay which is a fantastic way of discovering all that Somerset has to offer. Taunton, the County Town of Somerset, is approximately 7 miles with an extensive shopping mix, restaurants, leisure facilities, the County Cricket ground and racecourse. The central location makes it perfect for visiting both coastlines including pretty Watchet and Blue Anchor Bay to the North and the popular seaside towns of Seaton, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth to the South.

Step into the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with apex ceilings, beautiful exposed beams, oak flooring and wood burner, a perfect escape for families and couples alike. Settle in for a snug evening with a feast, a bottle of wine and a film on the Smart TV. The perfectly equipped kitchen has an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine it is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. There is also a useful cloakroom with WC. At either end of the property are two bedrooms, the first is a king-size with an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. The second is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with an en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

Outside there is an enclosed walled courtyard garden with far-reaching countryside views, great for both you and your four-legged friends to relax in. Guests will find a table and chairs, a charcoal BBQ as well a wood-fired hot tub, which is particularly inviting at night, when guests can enjoy the warm bubbling water under the star-filled skies. You will be very welcome to use the owners tennis court too. There is ample off-road parking available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Very comfortable and finished to a high standard. Owners were very approachable and quick to respond to any queries. The location lends itself to peace and serenity but adequately placed for visiting other areas with the M5 within 3 miles. Hope to return in the very near future!

An excellent holiday home I would recommend to family and friends. Helpful advice provided for arrival route. Very good eating places locally particularly the Monkton Inn with excellent food at good prices. Dog friendly not just dog tolerant.

Fantastically converted property, lovely setting and some great walk suggestions in the welcome pack. 10-15min walk to local shop and pubs. Couldnt be better. Hot tub was awesome and easy to use. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay, highly recommended.

An amazing place to stay. Spotlessly clean and really comfortable and well equipped. We loved the Pigsty. Just loved it. The hot tub was a real highlight. Sitting in there looking at the view was just amazing. Lots to see locally with great dog walks from the door and a nice pub in North Curry. A fabulous place to stay.
