Located at Cowden Pound, near the charming Kent village of Cowden, This beautiful property is a precious example of a small, wayside country Pub. This Grade II listed Victorian building is within the surrounding High Weald AONB making it a haven for walkers and cyclists. Just a short drive away is the famous Hever Castle and gardens, the former home of Anne Boleyn. Other historic attractions within easy reach are Churchill’s home at Chartwell and Penshurst Place and gardens. Beyond the village, the spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is well worth a visit with its selection of independent shops and cafes nestled in the Pantiles area, while the nearby vineyards make for a great day out. A great property, full of character and history. Great use of open fires and really comfortable beds. A great place to spend time with friends. We stayed during the pub evening closures so felt very chuffed having fun in a pub after 10pm.

We had a wonderful time at the Queens Arms. The property is original, quirky and full of character. When we arrived, the Rayburn was lit and the wood burner and open fire laid ready for use. Staying at the The Queens Arms is both relaxing and fun. We had a fabulous time with friends and family. There's plenty to entertain both in the old pub and out and about in the local area. Couldn't have been better!
