Perched on the outskirts of the village of Wellow, with its local pub and shop, enjoying some of the finest scenery as far as the eye can see, walkers and cyclists of all abilities can enjoy an array of scenic foot/bridle paths including the Sustrans route 24 and the Colliers way cycle path that meander through this picturesque countryside and for the more energetic right into Bath. The city of Bath enjoys some of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in the world and has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Come rain or shine you will not be short of activities within Bath, from its diverse collection of museums and attractions including the famous Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and Thermae Bath Spa, as well as an irresistible array of shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Slightly further afield leads you to the popular attractions at Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Longleat Safari Park, numerous National Trust properties and gardens. The north Somerset coastline is also a short drive and has a range of different beaches to choose from. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan area enjoys ample seating around the large flatscreen TV with DVD and Freeview. Kitchen area benefits from wheelchair accessible units, integrated oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Amenities: off-road parking is available. We have stayed at the cottage now three time and ever time we always receive a warm welcome. We stay there because it is close to Bath, which enable us to visit Bath Market which the main reason way we this cottage ever year.

A great location in Somerset, just outside Bath. This was our second stay there, and will definitely stay again.

Location- wonderfully rural. Sited on a pony trekking centre. Lots of activity all the time and the ponies were lovely to pet even for a non-equestrian. Also very central to lots of great attractions: longleat, canals, seaside (about an hours drive), even Stonehenge is not a huge drive. Accommodation- plenty of room for 6 people, games, jigsaws, boRead moreoks in plentiful supply. Disabled facilities were great. Easy access bedroom with wet room en-suite. Just a note- take a fly swatter. Hide

Great place to stay with a push bike not so good with a large dog, walking is a problem to many cows and horses in fields.
