Located in the picturesque village of Glenelg, amidst one of the most scenic areas in the Scottish Highlands. The village boasts a wonderful friendly Inn and the famous 10-minute local ferry trip to the magical mystical Isle of Skye. Walkers and Munro baggers are spoilt for choice with numerous local glens and nearby mountain ranges to explore and water sports enthusiasts will be delighted with sea kayaking available in Glenelg bay. Visit the splendid Sandaig Islands, local Brochs and Jacobite barracks. Enjoy a tip to Dornie and visit Eilean Donan castle. The pretty villages of Plockton, Applecross and the Kyle of Lochalsh are all within easy reach.

On arrival at this spacious accommodation all on one level you will find the welcoming lounge is the perfect place to relax after a long journey with its open fire, TV/DVD and a selection of books, board games and dvd’s provided. The well-equipped kitchen/diner is generously-sized with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and tumble dyer. The dining area with seating for ten is a great space for special celebrations or family meals. Leading back through the hallway you will find the bathroom with lovely relaxing jacuzzi bath and WC and shower room with the hydrotherapy massage/steam shower and WC. All of the property’s five bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated one is King-size, one double, one twin with T/VDVD and one triple with three single beds and TV/DVD

Stepping back outside you will find the lovely enclosed garden laid to lawn with table, seating and BBQ for you to enjoy al fresco dining while you take in the amazing views from the property. There is ample off-street parking.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This location is idyllic for those looking to escape everyday life and experience nature and quiet. There's something for all types of nature lovers here, no matter what age or physical ability. The property itself is located approximately 2.5 miles from Glenelg where you will be able to pick up supplies from the local shop, hire a bike, visit the friendly inn for a local pint of ale or pop into one of the quirky tea shops. Sheena's Tea Hut may be located some 10 miles from Glenelg but it'll be well worth the visit if you're over that way as it's likely to be the remotest tea shop of its kind! From Glenelg you can take a short ferry ride to the Isle of Skye or stay inland and take advantage of the many walking trails and cycling paths that meander through stunning terrain. More active visitors will enjoy the many water sports on offer as well as the daring mountain ranges just waiting to be explored.

The cottage was spacious and comfortable. It had just about everything we needed and it was in a great location. Staying a week was great value for money but the price for 10 nights was going to be almost double and therefore was not good value so we just stayed a week.
