The cottage was nicely situated in a lane which led into a bridleway down to the sea. The beds were comfortable. The bath could have done with a grab rail or a rubber mat to make use of the shower. Parking was tight but at least it was off the road.

We have just returned from Trimm cottage as a family of four, plus dog. It is in a fabulous location. The main road through Chideock is VERY busy but the cottage is down a quiet, pretty lane and only 5-10 mins walk to the beach. Cottage very comfy and cosy and the garden is enclosed for the dog. Recommend the Anchor pub for drinks with sea views anRead mored the George pub for food. Thursdays are pizza night. We ordered take-out and they were delicious. We liked this cottage very much and would love to go again after the present situation has eased. Very cosy, wonderful location inc walks to the beach in Seatown plus pubs and food stores nearby. BUT for us the garden was the best for our dog. Enclosed and secure. He was very happy. Thank you.

The cottage was chosen for its location near to the Coastal Path and other walks in West Dorset, and was very good for this. I always look for a shop and a pub in the village, and Wi-Fi. The shop was basic particularly for fresh food, but good range of shops in Bridport. The pubs both did good beer, but are more geared to providing food (particularRead morely the George). The Clock is nearer and was fine. The Wi-Fi was good and better than often found in rural locations. Hide
