A spacious wing of the main house set in a superb elevated position overlooking the bay at Crackington Haven.

This light and airy property offers a charming holiday spot with spectacular views over the nearby beach of Crackington Haven. Comfortably accommodating up to four people, it’s an ideal base for exploring the local area and further into Cornwall, there is also a quiet 25 pitch touring site in the field to the rear of the property. The property offers a tranquil retreat and a lovely setting with a pretty outside dining area and spectacular sea views. Crackington Haven is the ideal spot for families with its gently shelving beach in an enclosed bay. The upper part of the beach is mainly pebbles, with some small rock pools to explore. There are also a couple of little shops, a café, pub and a car park beside the beach for those who wish not to walk. The beach can be reached via the road, you can walk, but be warned it’s a steep walk back up. The surrounding area has much to offer with an abundance of local attractions, fine beaches, secluded coves and small fishing villages. Take a day out to discover the rugged scenery on Bodmin Moor or take a short drive into the seaside town of Bude which has 2 sandy beaches and many amenities including an indoor leisure pool, boating canal, golf course, Ten Pin bowling, tennis courts and a selection of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants. If you fancy leaving the car behind for the day, there is a public bus service that runs every 2 hours and which stops close by to the property.

Entering the property via 3 steps up, once inside you will be on one level. The light and airy lounge offers reclining sofas with sea views and has a door leading outside to the garden. There is also a TV and DVD in the lounge where you can enjoy watching a film or catching up with your favourite TV programme as well as a selection of games available. Leading from the lounge area is the kitchen/diner, with a contemporary style dining table and chairs to savour a leisurely breakfast, relaxing lunch or cosy evening meal. From here is the kitchen area which has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 is a double with a TV and the other is a twin. There is also a separate shower room with a separate WC. Use of shared games room with pool table and TV.

Heading outside to the private, enclosed garden take in the sea views from the patio area which has seating and a BBQ, ideal for al fresco dining. There is also a lawn area and swings for children to play on. Off-road parking is available for 2 cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely accommodation, clean with everything you could need. Hosts very helpful. Wonderful large garden with superb views. Watching the sunset whilst sitting on the patio was a perfect way to end the day. Very secure garden for the dog.

The property is situated down a country lane with fantastic views and a peaceful setting. The garden is large and well kept and is secure for both children and dogs. The cottage is equipped with everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The owners were lovely and friendly and although they live next door very discreet. We were warmly welcomed and shown our accommodation, which was very well equipped. Rodney and Anne were very kind and had left us welcome food condiments, also delicious Cornish fudge and biscuits! The views from the cottage were delightful, with the sea and on evenings with no cloud, the sunsets were amazing. It is a good location for reaching manRead morey areas of Cornwall, both coastal and inland. A comprehensive visitors pack was included. Very dog friendly, large garden. Hide

The accommodation was perfect. Furnished and equipped to a high standard, warm and comfortable. Very peaceful and lovely hosts. We will definitely revisit soon. Highly recommended. Secure garden for the dog.
