This stunning converted chapel has been lovingly fitted and furnished in a contemporary yet in-keeping style and nestles in an idyllic relaxed rural setting just a mile from the spectacular North Coast.

Ideally situated near to the border of Cornwall/Devon, this is a great location from which to explore both counties. Just a short stroll takes you to the South West Coastal Path, providing access to the unique cliff top 'Hawker's Hut', and leading to the ever popular seaside town of Bude, and rugged coastal town of Hartland, famed for its abbey and quay. It is also possible to walk directly from the property via public footpaths to the popular 13th century pub, just over one mile away, and 13th century tea rooms, just slightly further afield. Beach lovers will also be spoilt for choice with an array of golden sandy beaches and unspoilt coves in the area and traditional fishing villages such as Padstow and Port Isaac. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Clovelly, Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Newquay Zoo, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and numerous National Trust properties.

Stepping inside this delightful property and given the fabulous reverse level arrangement, the first rooms you will find are the beautifully appointed bedrooms. These all lead off the light and airy hallway and comprise of a double bedroom, king-size bedroom and a pretty single bedroom. Sat next to these is the contemporary and spacious shower room with shower and WC. Then head up the feature staircase to the first floor and here the accommodation opens up into a spectacular open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with stunning features in abundance. The cosy lounge area consists of comfortable seating arranged around a TV with DVD and next to this a wood burner effect electric fire, which provides ambiance and extra warmth. Dining forms part of the beautifully presented kitchen and this boasts a central island, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washer/dryer.

Venturing outside and accessed via a gate to the side of the property, a lovely sun-trap enclosed garden with lawn, patio area, garden furniture and BBQ is provided for your relaxation and enjoyment, and provides a perfect venue for an alfresco meal after a day exploring. Handily, designated off-road parking for two cars is also provided directly outside on the private parking area next to the property.

I would definitely recommend Valley View to friends and family. We had a little problem with the hot water initially but the owner responded immediately and the issue was resolved straight away.

set in a secluded,yet easily accessed location,this is a great "get away from it all" cottage.well equipped,with views,due to its upside down arrangement,we would use it again.

The house was lovely, so clean and welcoming The hamper that was left was lovely as ment we could start to relax and enjoy our holiday with a cider before Mr Tesco delivered the shopping!! Our dog, Oscar felt special as well as had a little treat and blankets - he loved cuddling up on them after a long walk. Will definitely be returning - hopefullyRead more next year :-) Hide

We loved our stay at Valley View. A very beautiful cottage in a stunning location with very easy access to many lovely coastal walks and beaches. Lovely tea rooms and pub within walking distance too. We absolutely loved our stay at Valley View! The cottage is so well equipped with ever thing we could have needed, its so warm and cosy and the beds are extremely comfortable we all slept soundly each night. Views from the dining table at breakfast are spectacular and the enclosed garden is a lovely place to spend a warm evening. A comfortable pet friendly cottage with a modern airy feel, great views and very easy access to the South West coast path. The owner was helpful and welcoming, and little touches such as a hamper of local goodies made the stay a memorable one!

The cottage was beautifully decorated in a lovely setting just a walking distance from the coastal path. We were very welcomed with a small hamper and milk in the fridge and felt at home straight away. I would recommend this cottage to anybody who wants to escape into a beautiful countryside.

Our stay Vally View was just perfect. Stunning location, stunning property, amazing attention to detail both in the beautifully presentation of the house itself and also in meeting the needs of what people need on holiday and then some! Only sorry we were't staying for longer.
