The town of Tregaron is five miles away from the property and is home to a good range of shops, as well as a traditional market. Just outside the town the Cors Caron Nature Reserve is set on a vast wetland site and is home to over 170 species of birds. For those who are willing to travel a little further, the Cardigan Bay coast lies some eighteen miles west of the property, a superb area to spend a few days exploring, with its beaches, coves, and seaside towns such as Aberystwyth and New Quay. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

This property is situated next to the owner’s B&B and further holiday cottage, and yet feels secluded and private, with its own entrance and veranda. The main living area in the cottage is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is a light-filled space overlooking the surrounding countryside. The lounge seating area, next to the patio doors, has a TV, DVD, and CD player, as well as comfortable seating and a dining table for two. The bedroom is found on the same floor as the living area and boasts a king-size bed (can be made up as a twin on request), a dressing table, bedside table and drawers, whilst the shower room offers a shower and WC.

Outside, there is a spacious balcony right outside the property which offers beautiful views over the surrounding countryside, and is furnished with garden furniture and a BBQ. Beyond this, there are well-established communal gardens with a stream and wildlife pond, which make a lovely place to wander around enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, whilst paying a visit to the resident animals which include turkeys and chickens.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Such a lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful setting. A good base to explore this gorgeous part of Wales and the wildlife show on the verandah was another delightful aspect. Even the weather was kind during our stay. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

This is probably the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. It may be a challenge to find but well worth the effort. This is a place to switch the world off and sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the birds and wildlife right outside the window. Our golden Labrador thought that he had died and gone to heaven!
