This stunning coastal home nestles in an idyllic seaside setting and has been lovingly furnished in a contemporary style with a games room, providing rest, relaxation and fun for all ages.

This spacious property is just a few minutes walk from Lusty Glaze Beach, just one of Newquay’s finest stretches of sand. Lusty Glaze Beach is the perfect location to begin learning or to improve your surfing skills, enjoy a wide range of water sports and for catching the summer sun. Due to its location as a privately owned surfing beach, it offers exclusive access to some of the best waves in Cornwall. The property is also within walking distance of the town centre, with its shops, bars, Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef aquarium. If you wish to venture slightly further afield, there is much to see and do in the surrounding area, including the beautiful Watergate Bay, home to the Boardmasters music and surfing festival. For a totally different Cornish experience, the pretty harbour town of Padstow with its plethora of upmarket eateries is within a 17-mile drive.

Stepping into this stunning property, a light and bright hallway with oak flooring leads through to the cosy lounge with a lovely bay window offering sea views. With Smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating as well as a wood burner, this room is the perfect place to kick back and watch your favourite films or SkyTV. Moving across the hallway is the first of four bedrooms, this king-size bedroom offers fabulous views of the sea from the bay window as well as a Smart TV, a perfect spot for a lazy morning. Moving back out into the hallway you will come to the dining room which has a round table for all those sociable occasions and fabulous meals. The dining room leads into the breathtaking kitchen, with its mood lighting and bi-folding doors that allow light to stream in through the glass. The kitchen offers a double electric oven with the island housing the gas hob, pop-up power tower, and wine cooler. You will also see there is a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Bluetooth speaker and remote-controlled extractor fan. This is the perfect kitchen for cooking up a feast for the family or sitting at the breakfast bar for morning coffee freshly made from the coffee machine. Moving through the kitchen and into a side hallway brings you to a bathroom with bath and WC, and the second bedroom which is a super-king-size (that can be made up as a twin on request). This room is complete with an en-suite shower room with shower and WC and has bi-folding doors out onto the garden as well as a Smart TV. From here and moving back out into the hallway you will come to the utility room which houses a sink, the washing machine and lots of space for drying clothes and storing items. Off this space is the third bedroom which is a twin room (which can be changed to a super-king-size on request). Moving up the glass staircase you will reach the master bedroom complete with a king-size bed, its own lounge area and Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, walk-in wardrobe, and en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath, double separate shower and WC - with breathtaking views of the sea, this is the perfect retreat after a long day exploring the coast. In addition to this, on the same floor, you also have the pleasure of a cosy chill-out area with a large luxurious sofa, mood lighting and patio doors opening onto a decked terrace with seating - this space has uninterrupted views of the sea and the sunset.

Outside is a private contemporary garden with a patio area and garden furniture, and lawn. You will also find the games room complete with table tennis, air hockey and pool table. The children will be at home with a comfy seating area and games console to enjoy. There is also an outdoor hot shower for washing away the sand from your fun-packed day at the beach, and private parking for three cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We had a fantastic week at Wayfarer. The house has been extended and decorated to a very high standard. Its comfortable, well equipped and a pleasure to spend time in. Its position gives some good sea views and its an easy walk to beaches, restaurants and shops. More fantastic beaches are a short drive away. Beautiful cottage opposite a beautiful beach. The coast line is stunning although Newquay itself (apart from the harbour) is very disappointing.

Lovely house, well equipped, very clean, beautiful location with great views, great all day breakfast at the Kallacliff hotel two doors down. Which we could stay another week but it was fully booked. Highly recommended!
