Other attractions and activities close by include Findhorn Village Icehouse & Heritage Centre, The Scottish Dolphin Centre, Moray Motor Museum, Brodie & Cawdor castles, Elgin museum and Cathedral, together with adventure boat trips and outdoors activities. Stepping into this delightful annexe next to the farmhouse, you are surrounded by delightful highlands countryside, perfect for a relaxing break.

You enter the property into the comfortable open-plan lounge/diner, with comfortable seating where you can relax by the wood burner and watch the TV/DVD. The dining table for two is perfect place to enjoy a romantic meal, and enjoy countryside views. The compact but well-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking your evening meal with electric oven, hob and fridge. Upstairs on the first floor you will find the contemporary shower room with shower and WC. Just 2.5 miles away is a local farm shop at Welhill, but further supplies can be obtained in the nearby town of Forres (3 miles), where there are a number of shops and restaurants to explore, as well as a ruined castle with attractive gardens.

The property is set close to the beautiful Culbin Forest, home to a huge array of wildlife, and which has numerous marked trails for walking or cycling. Enjoy exploring the many pools, woods, sandy dunes and coastline that form this beautiful area. Stunning Findhorn Bay, a natural lagoon, offers beautiful beaches, water sports and wildlife to spot.

The magnificent Brodie Castle (3 miles) offers a fascinating glimpse into the life of the eminent Brodie family. Admire the various artworks or enjoy a picnic and a leisurely stroll around the attractive grounds.

The accomadation is in a very nice house annexe in a very quiet location.It is in a farming area that is arable land harvest was in progress whilst we were there .Forres is a lovely colourful town there area is good for walkers bike riders runners & hikers.The town is about 10mins away and there are supermarkets and lovely shops .The coast is aboutRead more 20 mins drive beautiful little villages around&kalsomine whisky distilleries to go to and also a cooperage which is interesting.
