One of four converted barns on the picturesque Cleddau estuary - great for families and nature lovers.

Approached via a lane that leads to the estuary foreshore with a slipway for boating enthusiasts, this character barn is the perfect picturesque retreat. It’s located on the edge of Hundleton, with the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path running nearby. There are a whole host of stunning sandy beaches within a 15 minute drive, such as West Angle Bay, Broad Haven South and Freshwater East. The bustling resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot are also a short drive, offering quaint streets, harbours and a real seaside atmosphere.

The barn has been converted with character exposed beams and updated with a contemporary interior finish. It’s spacious, providing plenty of room for the whole family. Relax in the lounge and watch the TV or a DVD, or curl up with a book in front of the electric fire on cooler evenings. The kitchen/diner is well equipped, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. You’ll also find one of the twin bedrooms on the ground floor, as well as the shower room which has a shower and WC. Upstairs is a double bedroom with a TV and another twin, plus a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside is an enclosed garden with furniture at the rear, so you can make the most of the countryside views. Perhaps dine alfresco or enjoy a drink as the sun sets. Or relax on the shared open lawn to the front of the property with its river view. There’s also ample parking at the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This was the second time we have stayed at Beech. The cottage is comfortable and well furnished. It is in a great location with easy access to Freshwater West, the Stackpole Estate, Bosherston Lily Ponds and the great Old Point House pub at Angle with its excellent food and location. We really appreciate that you can take 5 dogs to Beech, our GoldeRead moren Retrievers had a wonderful time although the walking immediately around the cottage isn't good but access to the beaches make it a great location Hide

Lovely location, be mindful of the low ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms and be sure to take a couple of your own utensils and extra toilet paper!

Perfect place to stay with 4 legged friends. Beaches close by (short drives or long walks if you like walking). Location is perfect. Could have stated longer. Only one minor negative was the internet connection being almost non existent so unable to use at all. IF your on holiday I suppose the internet isnt that important. We had guests that were oRead morever 6ft who struggled in the upstairs rooms but again that's just being picky. Thanks for a lovely stay! Hide

We all had a great holiday in this lovely cottage. It was ideal for our family and all the dogs. A lovely location with nice walks from the door step. The only issues we had were a tea towel would have been nice. Also the internet did not work at all. As this was detailed in the booklet this is clearly an ongoing issue. The rear garden only has a bRead moreench, but the individual picnic bench out front on the communal area was great. However some may not like eating in front of others. Hide

A very lovely cottage with peaceful views over the estuary. We were incredibly lucky with the weather so enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard area and having the doors open. There are some short walks from the house, but there are some wonderful beaches and walks just a short drive away. We would definitely come back!

Lovely quiet location, clean cottage and we felt very at home there. Being able to take 5 dogs in the cottage was brilliant and we would recommend to anybody who enjoys the quiet life.

The cottage was excellent and well located, thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and loved the beaches and nearby Bosherston Lily Ponds at Stackpole Estate. My only reservation was the wifi reception.
