Stylish first-floor apartment with stunning sea views, sitting almost right on the expansive beach in the seaside town of Westward Ho!, within walking distance of the town’s cafes and shops.

This property enjoys a fantastic location almost right on the beach at Westward Ho! with its two mile wide stretch of sand, which makes it a popular destination with families, beach-lovers, and water sports enthusiasts alike. To one side of the beach, Northam Burrows Country Park is a haven for marine wildlife and offers a shady break from the beach amongst the sand dunes. For those who want to explore a bit further afield, there is plenty to see and do within a ten minute drive of the property, including The Big Sheep, the historic harbour town of Bideford and the pretty fishing village of Appledore.

This contemporary first-floor apartment is accessed via a flight of external stairs leading to the front door of the property, which opens directly onto the stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its stunning sea views which can be enjoyed from the inviting sofa and armchairs. Should guests ever tire of gazing out to sea, there is a Netflix enabled Smart TV as well as Bluetooth speakers to provide entertainment. The light filled kitchen area has been thoughtfully planned to provide everything that guests need including an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Guests who require use of a washing machine can find one in the shared laundry room. The apartment has two bedrooms, both of which have their own TV/DVD and DAB radio; the first of these is a king-size room with an en-suite shower and WC, whilst the second is a twin room. The bathroom offers a relaxing spa bath and WC.

To the front of the property, accessed through large patio doors from the lounge area, is an enclosed glass-fronted balcony, which has a table and chairs from which to admire the sea views and unwind with alfresco drinks. There is 1 off-road parking space available and further on street parking available close by subject to availability.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Although the apartment had been 'fogged' for Covid it had not been deep cleaned before our stay, the kitchen cupboards and floor were very dirty and we had to clean door handles, toilet seats & cupboard handles ourselves on arrival. A cork had been left on the bottle opener and items left in the food cupboard. The single beds were also very narrow Read more(caravan width mattresses) quite deceiving in the photographs posted on the website. The location was fabulous however and the balcony a real bonus. The property was as stated in the spec only a 1min walk to the beach. It was a perfect size for a family of 4. The only negative I have is the amount of dog poo outside on the path to the main village area.
