This is a lovely little cottage, with a nice enclosed garden. There is parking for 1 vehicle & then you go down a little walkway to the cottage (on the right). It's everything you would imagine - low doorways, beams, small windows - but is still light inside and there was plenty of space for a couple and a dog! The cottage was absolutely charming, lovely and warm when we arrived and fully equipped. A very sweet garden and a great location. The only down side is the bathroom is on the ground floor and with quite steep stairs so is difficult if you want to go to the toilet during the night. Be a great improvement if a toilet and basin could be incorporated Read moreon the first floor. Hide

This was a lovely cottage full of character. Everything you could think of was provided with some lovely welcome touches. We stayed in November & it was so cosy a perfect winters retreat. This house is exactly as described. It was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner (Jill) responded immediately to one query which was reassuring. It is what you would expect from a house this age with low doorways and steep stairs. The small conservatory overlooking a pretty, well maintained garden is a bonus.
