Set within a small countryside complex, this former granary has a wealth on leisure activities on-site, while the beaches, towns and attractions of North Cornwall are just a short drive away.

This stone cottage takes full advantage of the peace and quiet of the countryside, yet the wonderful sandy beach of Widemouth Bay is just a 3-minute drive away, while the coastal town of Bude is an 8-minute drive. Bude offers a wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well a number of leisure facilities including a golf course, clifftop walks, a canal, bowling greens, a leisure centre and sea fishing. The property is also perfectly positioned to explore further afield in both Cornwall and Devon.

On the ground floor guests will find one bedroom, a bathroom, lounge and kitchen/diner. The downstairs bedroom features a double bed, TV and en-suite shower and WC. The bathroom also includes a handheld shower over bath and WC. A TV is offered in the lounge area, which also features exposed stone walls and French doors. The lounge leads into the kitchen/diner, which features a family-sized dining table, an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. On the first floor are two more bedrooms: one four-poster with TV and en-suite shower and WC, and one twin.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with a lawn, patio area and garden furniture. The garden also gives access to the adjacent woodland as well as the fishing lakes where guests can enjoy coarse lake fishing. There are numerous on-site outdoor leisure activities provided, including river trout fishing, an outdoor tennis court  and  giant chess set, a woodland walk and a kite-flying field.  There is a games room which includes a pool table and table tennis, as well as an additional children’s play room, featuring a selection of toys and games. Private off-road parking for two cars is also provided.


Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great views over open countryside. Tranquility only spoiled by close proximity of childrens play room.

The cottage from the outside was a delight. Plenty of parking for two cars. Stunning views too. Inside is open plan. Looked bigger online. Downstairs bedroom was handy for my parents. The bedroom with the two single beds wasnt really adequate for my two sons,cramped and lack of storage for clothes. The main bedroom had a four poster bed and big darRead morek furniture in. It was a nice room,with en suite,but it all looked out of place for the property. Hide

Mrs Atkins was extremely helpful nothing was too much trouble.We also met the owner a couple of times as had a leak from radiator valve. The owner was a lovely gentleman .Everything is provided home from home and there is a very useful manual left in the property this covers all you need to know.

Can highly recommend this property. Great facilities, and location, clean and everything provided- including a cream tea welcome. The layout suited our party brilliantly, with a bedroom and en-suite shower downstairs and the other two upstairs.

Love Woolstone Granary, nice and quiet, lots of lovely walks, close to Bude. Beaches are all good. Nice canal walk, dogs had a great time. Will go again!
