This tranquil part of the island may feel secluded, but it is in an excellent location for enjoying all that the island has to offer and is located only 3 miles from the island’s capital of Newport with its shops, restaurants, pubs, and cinema. Also within easy reach, are numerous beautiful beaches for which the island is known, with those at Gurnard and Thorness being the closest, just a ten-minute drive away.
Stepping through the front door of this property, guests will come first to a hallway where they are able to leave their coats before continuing on to the kitchen/diner which is well-equipped and offers an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. At the far end of the room, the dining area doubles up as a seating area furnished not only with a dining table but also a relaxing sofa. A separate utility room, meanwhile, houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, and a second fridge. Two of the property’s bedrooms can also be found on this floor: a restful double room and a twin room with views to the forest. There is also a bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC. Taking the stairs to the first floor, guests will find a doorway off the landing which leads to the lounge. This delightfully spacious dual-aspect room is decorated with some interesting personal touches as well as inviting sofas, a warming wood burner, and TV/DVD. Continuing up the stairs, guests will come to the master bedroom, a stylish double room which benefits from an en-suite shower and WC.
Outside, the property boasts an impressive amount of outdoor space, with a large fully-enclosed lawn and a patio seating area. The garden is edged with trees and shrubs and there is garden furniture and a BBQ provided. In addition to this, there is a six-person hot tub which is available from June onwards at a supplementary charge per stay. There is parking for three cars on the driveway at the front of the property.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
