This beautiful detached property offers the perfect holiday accommodation with far reaching countryside views, peacefully tucked away in the village of Exton, in the heart of Exmoor National Park.

Situated within the stunning rugged Exmoor National Park you will be ideally based to explore the picturesque North Devon and Somerset coastlines. Fantastic walks are available directly from the property’s front door including a circular walk to the village pub, or enjoy excellent coastal walks along the South West Coast Path. For those looking for a little more hustle and bustle, the seaside town of Minehead is just a drive away, and offers a range of shops, restaurants, and attractions along with its sandy beach. Other places of interest in the area include the pretty villages of Porlock, Lynton and Lynmouth, the harbour town of Watchet, the West Somerset Steam Railway and National Trusts Knighthayes Court and the medieval village of Dunster with its fascinating castle.

Upon entering the beautiful single-storey property, you will be greeted by the spacious entrance hall, a useful space to hang coats and leave muddy shoes after a walk through the countryside. The light and spacious, open-plan lounge/diner features a cosy wood burner and Smart TV, so you can relax in the evening and enjoy your favourite programmes. From here there are also French doors that lead to the raised decking, where you can let the outside in on sunny days and enjoy the views. Leading from either the hallway or the lounge/diner you enter the well-equipped kitchen with electric Rangemaster oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, a great space to prepare a meal. Back to the hallway you will find the two bedrooms, a king-size bedroom which enjoys countryside views and a twin. Completing the property is a contemporary bathroom with a shower over bath and WC.

Venturing outside from the kitchen there is a large covered porch perfect for taking off muddy wellies after a countryside walk or drying off your four-legged friend. A gradual sloping pathway down takes you straight into the enclosed lawn garden, a perfect space for children to play with a raised decked area tucked away and private.  The enclosed decked terrace can be accessed from the lounge/diner and garden and is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. To the side of the property there is ample off-road parking for two cars.

Lovely and clean property with very well equipped kitchen. A quiet location, ideally situated to explore Exmoor as well as both Somerset and Devon, we had a lovely walking holiday with our dogs. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable with a garden area and raised decking to sit on in the sunny evenings. There was good access to Dunster, Minehead and other villages around and many walks nearby. The access was down an unmade up road and turning a large vehicle round at the cottage was tricky. There were many available programmes on thRead moree TV but finding live stations was problematic, perhaps because the system had only been installed the day before we arrived. Hide

This is a beautiful property in a secluded area but also close to all of the wonderful sights on offer. We had an amazing time, myself and my two dogs, on our first holiday away together. The owners could not do more to help and my dogs adored them, so that was great. It is furnished beautifully with fabulous views over the surrounding countryside,Read more I would recommend to anyone. Hide

Lovely stay for four adults and a dog. Spacious and well set out holiday cottage. Small scare when dog shot through hole at end of garden but probably our fault for not noticing. House in very tranquil location and had the benefit of a lovely fire. Location quiet but easy enough to get to historic sites and beaches.

Zephyrs is a very peaceful, tucked away cottage and provided us with a good touring base for the local area. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog and the outdoor terrace area was lovely on a sunny afternoon. Owners were very helpful and friendly, we had an issue with the modem on day one which they sorted out immediately. Would recommend.

On arrival at the cottage, it was lovely and warm. Plenty of logs for the fire and the welcome package was gratefully received. The host was very helpful with local knowledge of places to eat and local walks (as we had our Labrador with us). We had a very relaxed break, the views from the lounge were lovely (when the weather permitted) and if you aRead morere a lover of star gazing then the clear night sky is a bonus. The cottage is fairly remote but suited us, with amenities a short drive away. Hide
